5.2.1.3. Occupational Health & Safety policy statement

The Policy of Photofab is to protect and promote the Health, Safety and Welfare of its workers, employees, customers, contractors and others.

The Company will:

1. Follow planned Health and Safety Management Procedures, with defined responsibilities and to satisfy current legal, statutory and other requirements.
2. Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of these procedures to prevent injury and ill health and comply with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018.
3. Set objectives to enhance the health and safety management system.
4. Carry out risk assessments to identify hazards and enable risks to be controlled through a hierarchical approach (eliminate, substitute, engineering controls, administrative controls, PPE, welfare).
5. Maintain a safe and healthy environment, with safe plant, equipment and use of substances.
6. Provide training and supervision for employees to work safely and effectively, ensuring that they are consulted on, and actively involved in, health and safety matters. It is the duty of all employees to act responsibly, and to do everything they can to prevent injury to themselves and fellow workers. Employees will be consulted on all health and safety matters.
7. Review and revise this policy regularly to enable it to remain effective.
8. The Technical Director has overall final responsibility for Health and Safety and ensuring the policy is put into practice.
